Terms & Conditions for Riverdale
By booking holiday accommodation at Riverdale Lodges, Safari Tents, or Shepherd’s Huts (collectively "Riverdale Holidays"), you agree to our Terms & Conditions, which form a short-term holiday rental contract.
1. The Contract
Your reservation is a contract between Riverdale Holidays and you for fixed dates and accommodations. Changes require a new agreement. UK law governs this contract.
2. Payment Terms
Deposit: 30% of the rental fee is required within 12 hours of booking. This is non-refundable.
Balance: Due 8 weeks before arrival. If booking is within 8 weeks, the full amount is due immediately.
Flexible Payments: Additional payments over £100 can be made anytime but must be complete by the due date.
3. Cancellation Policy
Within 24 hours: £75 administration fee.
More than 8 weeks before arrival: 30% deposit forfeited + £75 administration fee.
Less than 8 weeks before arrival: 70% of total rental rate due.
Less than 2 weeks before arrival: Full payment is due.
We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
4. Force Majeure
We provide refunds or rescheduling if unavoidable events prevent your stay.
5. Property Care
You are responsible for the care of the accommodation and its contents. Any damages or missing items will incur charges. Pets are allowed under specified conditions. Full guidelines are provided upon booking.
6. Damage Deposit
A deposit of £250 for up to 4 guests or £400 for larger parties/dogs may be required. Refunds are issued after inspection upon departure.
7. Other Important Policies
No Smoking: Inside accommodations; permitted on terraces.
Wi-Fi: Free and subject to specific terms.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in after 3 pm; Check-out by 10 am.
Right of Entry: We reserve the right for inspection or maintenance.
8. Complaints
Please inform the Riverdale Manager immediately to rectify any issues. Failure to do so forfeits rights to compensation.
